"Balancing roles as a producer, recording engineer and performer with her work as a composer, Marty has written and produced soundtracks for broadcast, independent film and composed for the stage. She is a dedicated professional who plays electric and acoustic guitars, lapsteel and mandolin and has produced, arranged and performed on over 60 records. Marty has performed and recorded with a diverse range of international artists.

Marty is currently composing music for film in Scotland, working in drama and on a series of films for The Maggies Centres. Since 2013 she has been working in London with bespoke music house Delicious Digital creating works for Discovery Channel, Sky Ireland, Grooveworx and BBC. She played guitar and lap-steel on the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann's film `Australia' as well as composing for Ch 7 and Ch10 (Aus) and the documentary films `I Am Eora' and `Renewing Women's Business'. She has been a regular music producer/performer for the popular show 'Good News Week TV' and was in the house bands for `The Sideshow' on ABC TV and `The Singing Office' for FOX and as a guitarist on Australian Idol. She won a Helpmann award in 2010 for the score to the highly successful stage show Smoke & Mirrors and in 2012 went on to write for Empire, which played on Broadway NYC and in 2013 composed the music and sound design for the critically acclaimed Workhorse Theatre company production `The Motherf**ker With The Hat' Marty uses Roland electronics and Ernie Ball strings "
