Our hospital has a long history in the Willamette Valley, dating back to 1950 when the North Santiam area community leaders formed a nonprofit organization with its mission to build a community hospital. By 1953, the hospital opened its doors, thanks to generous donations from more than 3,000 individuals and businesses.
