Hi, I'm Patrick Dwyer, owner of Gemstar Painting LLC. I founded Gemstar Painting LLC after completing my bachelor's degree in economics at Penn State University in 1993. After school, I had aspirations of working in the financial industry in NYC. However, the job market and economy at the time were in a recession, and I was having a hard time finding a viable job. Since I had worked in the construction trades during the summer in high school and college, people I knew began asking me to do improvements on their homes. Soon after, a company was born.
