Educational Service, Inc., was founded in 1935 by Helen C. Collins, Ph.D., to both meet the tutorial needs of students in the greater Wilmington area, and to offer a private source of educational counsel to parents and professionals. Incorporated in 1965 and under the directorship of Tina Maida Masington since 1982, Educational Service, Inc., continues to operate in a manner reflecting its founding philosophy, that is: to help students of all ages to maximize their potential and improve self-image through well-planned, individualized intervention in the form of diagnostic educational testing and/or remedial, supportive, or enrichment tutoring. Educational Service, Inc., also provides consulting services to parents and caregivers on all aspects of educational decision-making, as well as contracted instructional and testing services to public, charter, private and parochial schools. Our motto reflects our philosophy: Education and Service with Integrity.
