Our goal is to introduce you to the art and ancient discipline of yoga.
The ancient discipline of yoga has been practiced for over 5,000 years. Hatha Yoga, (the, physical postures), is the most common form of yoga practiced in the west. Other forms of yoga include meditation, and the breath work called pranayama. At our studio we not only practice the physical postures of Hatha yoga but also include other facets of yoga such as meditation and working with the breath. The benefits of yoga have often been described as stress relieving or calming. In addition to these mind-improving benefits, physical benefits include increased muscular flexibility and strength, improved digestion and circulation, easier management of chronic ailments such as asthma and diabetes, and a strong mind-body connection and self-understanding.
