Dale Beikman was often described as a man with a heart of gold, a strong love of family, and a strong work ethic. A Navy veteran from World War II, Grandpa Dale could often be found tending his large garden, and using those fresh vegetables in his own recipes, like his stuffed green pepper soup or his turkey Manhattan sandwiches.
When his grandson Dennis became the sole owner of TJ's Kitchen, he knew that rebranding the restaurant under his grandfather's moniker was not only a way of honoring him, but a way to focus on sharing the values that the family's patriarch held dear.
