Laura J Hansen is Just Law's most experienced attorney. She has been practicing family law since 2003 when she graduated from BYU. Laura did public interest law for the first 5 years of her practice with Legal Services and the Office of Guardian ad Litem. While there, she gained enormous experience doing thousands of high conflict custody and divorce cases, Juvenile Court law cases and going to Trial. Laura founded Just Law with Jess Couser in 2010 after they met while Jess was doing an internship at the Office of Guardian ad Litem where Laura was working as an attorney for abused and neglected children. Together, they decided to start a different type of law firm that was child-centered and family-focused and that worked toward quick, successful outcomes of family law cases.
